The field of Laboratory Sciences provides students of JUMS UG levels programs that contribute to the academic environment of the medical school.
The Medical Laboratory Science major is mainly a paramedical issue concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease using analytical methods in the clinical laboratory. The clinical program includes lecture and laboratory instruction in clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, hematology, immunology, immunohematology and molecular pathology, and prepares the student for the national certification examination and state licensure.
National applicants of this field of education has to appear for the entrance exams and international students have to accept through the eligibility process.
The length of the program is four years, namely students will complete this program within 8 semesters.
